a picture

this is 14 days after we met. the clock had just turned to midnight, so technically, i was 21. that was 15 1/2 years ago - holy cow! it truly doesn't seem like it's been that long. isn't he handsome? and my oh my! that is one turquoise sweater i am wearing!! :) this was in my first apartment. i had a very small bedroom - my roommate and i were going to switch every semester. it didn't work out that way. i spent way more for my tiny room than i should have - ah well. the following summer i moved in with someone who became one of my best friends :) she and i lived in 3 different places together. the last house we rented it was judy, leah, rob, and i. it was a groovy house in novato. the most fun place to live though, was in rohnert park on barbi lane. yes, it's obscene that we lived on barbi lane, but it was acute litttttle house with only one bathroom. we had a whole lot of fun.

Oh my - you look like you're about twelve years old in that photo!!!

I used to live in Novato too. It's a nice town. Marin County but not really Marin County, if you know what I mean.

As for the bookshelf meme, you should do it - with your children's books - that would be fun!

laume - i know exactly what you mean about novato -- rob, having grown up in terra linda, had to be convinced that it would be okay to live there *smile*

and yep, i do look quite young. and i was HUGELY happy too - and was at my really good for me weight.

i should do the bookshelf meme - i'll try to get a round tuit. maybe one will show up soon - heh heh

deb - *beam* thank you.

carrie - in some ways, yes. i really miss college. i miss all the possibilities of what was ahead of us, but i love where we've gone - well, not so much in love with sparks, but at least i'm with rob and the kids, which makes it not so bad. there were some stupid things i did along that road that i'd not like to do again. but the friendships, the freedoms, the SLEEPING *giggle* yeah, i miss some of that. i still have the friendships, we're just all busy and farther away so we don't get to actually be in physically close proximity anymore.

well gosh, that was a long answer to a short question :)
