Getting to Know You (er, me?)

DebR from Red Shoe Ramblings (who i love and adore and am so pleased to know), was the Wednesday guest blogger for the first month of Getting to Know You posts at Create a Connection. She posted some questions/fill in the blank statements and there will be some every wednesday there in an effort to get to know folks better.

If you have a blog, post the questions and your answers there and then post the link in the comments at CREATE A CONNECTION (you can do it here too, if you'd like). If you don't have a blog of your own, you can post your answers in the comments section over there (and, again, here too if you'd like

So let's get started!

Fill in the Blanks

Fill in the blanks to each of these statements - it's as simple as that! These don't have to be one-word responses. Use as few or as many words as you need to fill each blank, in order to tell your story.

1. I have never wanted to jump out of an airplane or bungy jump ; but I've always thought I might like to write a collaborative book . (i know these are supposed to sort of go together, but i can't think of anything jumping out of something high that i want to do -- i HAVE parasailed - i actually really LIKED that...)

2. When I was 10/11 years old, I believed that the world was going to end. my 6th grade teacher showed us a nostrodamas documentary and had me - and maybe others - convinced of the imminent destruction of the world as we knew it. i still worry about it, but in different ways.

3. If I was my own best friend, what I would enjoy the most about spending time with Me would be listening to each other, sharing and bouncing ideas off of each other, creating different fun things w/our kids; while what I'd find the most irritating would be my occasional lack of follow through - i general do follow through, it just takes a while. very irritating.

4. If the story of my life up to this point was being published tomorrow, it would be titled "oh my dawg and other sillyness in the life of kristen" (the alternative title would be "it's kristen...with an E", and it would be dedicated to rob, irene, and rhys - the ones that make my heart leap for joy .

5. When my time on Earth is over, and the people who loved me are remembering me, it would please me if they said in her time here, she made a difference .

I really like this one. Very creative and it makes you think about yourself. I'll try it but now I have to wait a few days because I have your answers in my head. I always have to do that when I meme. I delete the other's answers and wait a few days.

BTW,I loved hearing your laughter on those videos that Rob have. You can tell so much by ones laughter.

Aaaahh, kristen-with-an-e I love you right back and I'm so glad you did this one! Yay! Your answers were great.

Peee Esssss...I sent you a perhaps-incoherent email this afternoon about The Dream, but let me know if you didn't get it because I know of at least two other emails I've sent in the past couple of days that didn't get where they were going. Bah!
